Grant making
The charity awards grants to other charitable institutions in varying amounts of between £100 and £50,000; preferring to support projects concerned with mental health and wellbeing in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
The charity does not award grants to individuals and rarely awards grants to large charities whose area of benefit is wider than the West Midlands. The charity’s income is substantially committed on recurring annual grants and therefore only a small amount of funds is available in each year for new grants.
The Trustees will only consider applications for grants put to them in writing. In the first instance, grant applications should be as short as is reasonable. If the Trustees require further information this will be requested by the charity. The charity does not routinely acknowledge unsuccessful grant applications.
