Rodney Pitts FCA, MSI, CA (Canada)

After qualifying in 1980, Rodney worked for Ernst & Young in Canada for four years. In 1985 he joined BDO Binder Hamlyn and became a partner in 1989. Following a merger with Deloitte in 1994 he continued as a partner until 1996 when he left to establish his own accountancy practice.

Rodney has extensive experience in tax planning for private clients and also acts for a number of non-profit organisations.

During his early career, Rodney had significant involvement in forensic accounting work and corporate finance transactions; and during this period he became a member of the Securities Institute.

Rodney is currently a non-executive director of NHS Warwickshire and is chairman of the audit committee. He is also a non-executive director of LHA-ASRA Group Housing Association, and a member of court at the University of Birmingham.
